Happy-go-lucky Narwhal and no-nonsense Jelly find their inner superheroes in three new under-the-sea adventures. In the first story, Narwhal reveals his superhero alter-ego and enlists Jelly to help him figure out what his superpower is. Next, Narwhal uses his superpower to help a friend find his way back home. In the third story, Jelly is feeling blue and Narwhal comes to the rescue. Ben Clanton showcases the joys of friendship and the power of believing in yourself and others through this irresistible duo.

After reading the first book in this series and “meeting” Narwhal and Jelly, I knew any future books about these adorable little creatures were a must read for me. In this latest edition Narwhal has decided to come out and reveal his superhero self. Narwhal even convinces Jelly to join the fun as Narwhal’s trusty sidekick. Together they seek to discover what the Narwhal’s superpower is and even go on a few other mini adventures too.

Did I mention the cuteness of these two? I love the simplistic illustrations and the vivid colors. Our heroes have never looked more adorable. The author perfectly captures the heartwarming friendship between our little superhero duo and shows the reader the power of encouragement. Filled with good messages about friendship and believing in yourself and bringing out the best in others, you can’t help but want to share this book with all young readers.

Full of fun facts, silliness and waffles Super Narwhal and Jelly Jolt is sure to delight readers of all ages…even grownups. I can’t wait for the next book and to see what adventures Narwhal and Jelly will be up to next. Until then, make sure to pick up your very own copy of Super Narwhal and Jelly Jolt today, and join our little under the sea friends on their latest adventure.

Narwhal is a happy-go-lucky narwhal. Jelly is a no-nonsense jellyfish. The two might not have a lot in common, but they do they love waffles, parties and adventures. Join Narwhal and Jelly as they discover the whole wide ocean together.A wonderfully silly early graphic novel series featuring three stories. In the first, Jelly learns that Narwhal is a really good friend. Then Narwhal and Jelly form their own pod of awesomeness with their ocean friends. And finally, Narwhal and Jelly read the best book ever -- even though it doesn't have any words...or pictures!Ben Clanton showcases the joys of friendship, the benefits of working together and the power of imagination in the delightful Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea.

Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea is probably one to the most adorable picture books I have read this year. One of the many great things about this story is that it is a graphic novel for children. The format makes it easy to follow and fun to read. A young reader who maybe is just starting out or who gets intimidated by long paragraphs won’t be afraid of reading this quirky and cute book.

The two main characters Narwhal and Jellyfish don’t start out as friends, but with a little time spent together, their friendship quickly blooms. The book is a collection of three small stories that center around Narwhal and Jellyfish getting to know each other. Through these short stories, we learn about the meaning of friendship. These two amazing little creatures teach us about sharing, loving others no matter what, to be open to bringing new friends into your life and most importantly to use your imagination. Along the way, we also learn cool facts about Narwhals and Jellyfish. Definitely, a clever way to teach young readers something new, without making it seem like “learning”.

Narwhal is so full of joy and positivity. Jellyfish is a bit skeptical and maybe a touch grumpy, but the duo works. They learn from each other and together they improve one another for the better. They also really love waffles, because who doesn’t love waffles? This book brought such a huge smile to my face and filled me with joy. I learned new facts and even a fun little song about narwhals. Which of course I sang for the rest of the day (my poor husband heard it at least 20+ times…and probably thought I had hit my head on something…bless him).

I highly recommend this immensely adorable, sweet and funny graphic novel to anyone who needs some happiness and joy in their life. To all lovers of cute and perky little creatures of the sea, as well as all lovers of waffles. No matter what your age, you will fall in love with Narwhal and Jellyfish. I am so glad that a second book is in the works and I can’t wait to read it.
