Hello and welcome to The Plot Bunny Blog
My name is Marcilia, but most everyone calls me Marci. I am in my 30’s, and I live in a small town near Concord, Massachusetts with my husband. I have always been a lover of books, and libraries.
I spent my early childhood reading about princesses, magic castles and enchantments, soon after came Sweet Valley High and The Babysitter’s Club and around my 13th birthday I stumbled upon Jane Austen-I was hooked for life.
I always read or wanted to read books that were deemed “mature” for my age by most people, but my school and local librarians always allowed me to wander the shelves and pick up whatever tickled my fancy. Now it seems to be more and more the other way around as I keep returning to the stories of my childhood as well as falling in love with all the beautiful picture books and new children’s stories published every year.
To me libraries are sacred places and everything within them should be treated with the up most respect, and the same goes for all bookstores. There is just something about walking into a library and getting hit with the scent of all those books, each with a fragrance all their own, enticing you to open and read them, one by one.
My Blogging History:
I first started blogging/reviewing books on Reading In The Tardis which is a book review blog I shared with my friend Vania. I had a great time on there reviewing and sharing my favorite reads with our followers, but at this point in my life I wanted to branch out on my own and start something that was totally and truly my own. The Plot Bunny will be a blog comprised of book reviews, my personal adventures, possibly some delicious baking pictures/recipes, and probably a bunny or two. I want this to be a place where I can have fun bookish conversations with current and new friends and to share my love of books, baking, crafting and life with the world.

Beauty and the Beast by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
